Is this Modern or Older... what are your thoughts?

I am after your thoughts on this large red glass vase!

Initially - I was thinking it quite modern, but the weight confused me - as most cheap modern vases are quite light and "feel" cheap - this does not - it is remarkably heavy with scratches to the base suggesting age too!

Then, aside from the white casing to the inner - it is also cased to the base in clear glass too - which suggests a skill and design...

Lastly - I've no flippin idea!!!!.... lol.... none the wiser - and am hoping you might be -

Can't quite place it, but I would guess it was Scandinavian. The way the rim is finished looks like a quality piece to me. The base reminds me of how some of the Riihimaki vases are finished but I don't recall them doing the white cased style like this.

Could possibly be Aseda
