Off the beaten-track auctions
A long time local dealer claims to have found an auction somewhere or other,
No internet, No catalogue, 300 LPH, and of course, he won't tell us where it is!

Re: Off the beaten-track auctions
They exist but are rare these days. Who would knowingly sell anything through a company that cuts itself off from so many buyers. An easier spot is auctions who use lesser known internet companies or there own to make you bid. Most people won't sign up for any old company no matter how tempting the lots look.

Re: Off the beaten-track auctions
Well in this local Notts/Derby area, we used to have loads of "pub" auctions
Midweek evenings, always well attended, 30p buyers commision, pubs sold
beer and food, everyone was happy, but they have all gone, for one reason
or another.
