Tree sculpture with birds - possibly David Edmonds or Charles Stone
30cm high tree sculpture with birds. Moulded crown and wheel turned base. Stoneware tree and white stoneware or porcelain birds. A bit battered; believed to date from the 60s-70s. Unmarked.
The mix of techniques and materials points to a professional potter, imo, but doesn't seem to be the usual suspects.

I have seen no indication that Edmonds threw his ceramic pieces but information is in short supply.

He liked his birds on pots - I’ve seen one of his slab built gardens. Maybe this piece is one of his collaborations? The trunk may be by someone else.
