My Yates & Owen book is pointing to Andrew Watts at Lannock Pottery; it's only 3" high.

probably the 8 is a test piece .

In 1981 Andrew Watts switched from slipware to stoneware, but this is a 1981-87 mark, so presumably this was a special commission
