ID Blue and White please
I've googled the 19th century blue and white and didn't find it so I'm HOPING that it IS 20th century (I apologise unreservedly if it isn't). I don't know if that's a proper mark on the base or if its merely chipped.
Thank you.
Thank you.

The design looks familiar. I think it's latter half of the 19thC. Maybe Boothes or Copeland Spode

Yup, almost certainly second half of the nineteenth century. It has Japonaiserie / Aesthetic Movement inspired features - flying bird and flowers - so probably 1870s or 1880s. The maker is probably going to be hard to pin down as there were lots of contemporary potteries jumping on the bandwagon. Just keep looking on eBay and an identical piece should turn up... eventually!
