Please ID this pottery. The back stamp is too obscure for me to make out.

Unfortunately the camera has focused on the table rather than the base. Can you post another photo, please. Looks like the middle word might be Longstow or Longston.

This is as good as the backstamp gets I'm afraid. I can read Longton which is one of the "pottery" towns of Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, but I was hoping someone might recognise the pottery. It's similar to Sylvac but I'm sure it isn't that.

I've solved it!!! It's Royal Art Pottery. I thought the last letter above LONGTON was an I but its a T. Then I Googled and found this. Thank for your replies.
