help identifying manufaturer?

Hi anyone know who may have manufactured this vase? the colour is actualy aubergibne not purple as it came out in the pics, approx 30cm X 15cms, has a base very reminiscent of whitefriars glass.  I have been directed towards whitefriars,  to look at their stitch cube square pattern and also textured basket willow weaver, do appear to be some similarities? but no clearer towards who or where this is made.

The pintil is ground out, and it appears to be ground flat and poliched to parts of the base too. You can see in the third picture where it ripples into the ground pontil. E

Interestingly there is a guy selling a flint colour, clear vase the same currently on ebay. I have been having a chat with him as to why he believes its whitefriars, as I dont for a minute think it or mine is, but he just thoughtit might be? They certainly have some age, just wondering if it might be east european? Still interested in your thoughts and thanks in advance x
