Crowan, probably
I assume this is Crowan, but thought I'd better put it here, rather than in the appropriate thread, in case anyone knows better. Butter dish rather than a cheese dish I think, 14cm across. Lovely flowing brushwork, and the two parts fit together really well, both physically and visually.

That grey glaze underneath is typical, but the mark,
what we can see of it, looks a bit odd to me.
The pieces I have are marked well away from the foot rim, and usually glazed over.

It certainly looks like a "C", but maybe whatever is written inside it seems a bit too far to the right for the usual Crowan mark,

It's possible the mark was too close to the edge and got pushed up a bit.
