Small lava glaze 'Gourd' vase - Briglin?
Found this lovely 'gourd vase'. Looks hand thrown. Just over 10cm high. Terracotta clay. Unfortunately the textured glaze means I can't read the maker's mark at all!
Does anyone have any ideas?
Apologies two of the pictures are on their side...
I know it's not Poole but it seems similar in scale and style to Poole Atlantis.
Thanks!

It's certainly a Briglin shape, but never seen a decoration and glaze like that before.

Maybe a test piece or just a faulty batch of glaze

Alan Pett has the some of the stamps from when Briglin closed. They are that shape but even when they do fill with glaze they tend not to have a distinct box around them as yours does.

Naomi, come on, just look at the workmanship that has gone into this unusual but lovely piece.
