Re: Keith Ashley
I have the 2nd edition of Potters book i.e. Directory of Work of Full Members of Craft Potters Association and in there a picture of a lidded casserole to represent his work. However, the description he has added says, "Currently producing sculpture in ceramics and other materials but formerly produced utilitarian stoneware".
He trained at Farnham from 1962 until 1965 and established is own workshop in 1967, so that dates the handled bowl to some time in a 6 or 7 year period.

Cheers :) It's finely potted. Was the only Survivor from a bagful of pots that I bought at a local Antiques centre. The owner had only wrapped them up in a thin sheet of paper each. Didn't drop it far but it was onto tarmac and I can only describe the results as carnage :(
