Hi there,
I have this beautiful double walled Japanese tea set, obviously a modern piece but I'm hoping someone will be able to please decifer the mark on the base. Many thanks!

the tea set appears to have been made for the Western market, as there are 6 cups, so I suspect the marks on the bottom are just for show. They don't appear to be kanji characters just stylised marks.
