This is a large well made and glazed studio pottery jug. The closest I can find in my British Studio Potters Book is John Ward. Any thoughts on the maker please?

Doesn't look like John Ward's mark. Might be foreign, Eg US or Australian, but the handwritten mark and untrimmed foot imply a hobby potter if it's from the UK
