Hi, Interesting plate - pretty sure it's modern but any clues as to where it was made. Thank you.

Looks like a Chinese calligraphy bowl or dish. Often the writings are traditional poems. Looks fairly modern to me, and the lettering looks too regular to be handwritten so I'm assuming it's transfer printed .
