HI,
this is a very bold design, with very strong colours. The vase is large, 35cm high and 20cm across a the widest point. It has a slight lip on the rim, and on the base is what I think is the remains of a pontil mark which has been ground smooth.

thanks. Do you mean modern from China or 60s 70s from China? What makes you think that?

Not questioning your judgement, just don't know much about glass and I'd like to learn.

it looks brand new so I assume Niomi meant the former

perhaps skay could help, she has a nose for modern Chinese glass

I would look to Empoli (Italy) first for this vase. Use search terms such as Empoli, Florence and opaline.
