Large bowl by Judith Partridge or Jane Perryman
JP mark. Similar to Judith Partridge's mark but the book says it's handwritten. It's also like Jane Perryman's mark but is wheelthtown and she's a handbuilder

It's a long way from the couple of pieces of hers that I've got, which are in tinglazed red earthenware with a painted mark, and have rather sophisticated brushwork.

Jonathan Phillips or Jane Perryman - JP mark
Came across a similar mark today in New Ashgate gallery. An old piece that they still had because it was chipped and the gallery had forgotten the artist. They looked through their files and thought may be Jonathan Phillips or Jane Perryman

Clearly the gallery knows nothing about the work they stock, as Jane Perryman's ceramics have always been burnished sawdust fired porcelain. Never heard of Jonathan Phillips.

Re: Large bowl by Judith Partridge or Jane Perryman
They were looking in a catalogue of studio potters and came across Jane Perryman's mark which is almost identical to this one. Jane and Jonathan Phillips are the only two JPs that they've stocked. It's not like Jonathan's current work and I've not found an example of his mark
