Atlow Mill Pottery (Derbyshire). - see Steve Harland

Hi the mark doesn't look like the Jonathon Hancock one in my book, the 'h' should be a 'H', still it could be wrong.

approx. 7.5 inches wide. Lovely pot but I'm not certain if the mark is a jumble of letters or a symbol? I'm a bit lost, can anyone help with this please.

I've come across the mark before, along with an S.H mark. Seems to be MAP. I suspect that's the pottery (this looks like their standard ware), while the fancier ones have the potter's SH monogram





Other potters were working there too -

The mark is partly glazed over, but I think I can make out an "A" in there.

Believed to be by Steve Harland and is often found with an Sh mark. Harland took over at Polperro Pottery after the death of Frank Robinson in the 70s. Sometimes his Sh mark is found with P for Polperro, but whether he continued in the same premises or somewhere else is unknown.
This mark seems to be a combination of MAP
