unknown marked M or w
Speculative buy off eBay, but I'm sure I've we've been asked about this one and it was inconclusive. Seems to be signed cW or aW or M or W with a curly end, but it's been partially obscured with a smudge of clay across it. Half glazed, handbuilt, sea urchin style vase.
If it is a Wallwork, I'd say it was an early one

That running white/fawn glaze in the bottom of the 4th photo is very reminiscent of late Briglin. Otherwise it's outside my experience of AW et al. White clay and built? is that right?

where's the picture of the base? It'd be interesting to see the mark

Well.....interesting pot but the markings are not like any I've seen on an Alan Wallwork pot

Nothing like Wallwork and it looks to me as if it is a hobby potter. Joethehat makes much more realistic Wallworks.
