Jonathan Hancock, Steam Pottery, St Just
Jonathan Hancock set up St Just pottery in 2005, I first noticed St Just inscribed on the back of Simon Leaper dishes but Jonathan is equally the star of the show in St Just.

Re: Jonathan Hancock, Steam Pottery, St Just
I've seen the website for Jonathan Hancock at St Just but I've never seen any pieces for sale, other than direct. Are they that good that no-one wants to part with them?

They are superb!
I bought my two pieces on ebay but have not seen any since.

St Just Pottery, Steam Pottery Pendeen
Decanter or jug by Jonathan Hancock. There's a similar one on his St Just webpage.
http://just-arts.co.uk/StJustPottery.htm
He also set up Steam Pottery at Pendeen with Patrick Lester, although it's unclear if that was before or after St Just.

Neither pottery is still in operation and last I heard Hancock was no longer potting but working as a handyman.

Re: Jonathan Hancock, Steam Pottery, St Just
I've seen a few (ebay), but the jugs in this thread are the nicer bits I've seen.

I just spotted my first jug in auction after 7 years of looking, these things are rare as hen's teeth

Re: Jonathan Hancock, Steam Pottery, St Just
it's taken ten years for me to find another example of St Just pottery that I could buy but well worth the wait.
