Slipware with JS? mark - John Solly?

A small slipware pot cover with a clear monogram that looks like JS or ????

Based purely on the mark my first thought was Jane Searle but I've not seen any slipware by her. Not the marks I have for them, but John Solly or John Shelly would be a better bet.

John Solly did make earthenware but I've never seen this mark before or it being attributed to him.
