Slipware with gb mark - Gretel Baron, ex-Pantasaph Pottery

A small slipware pot cover with a clear monogram that looks like JS or ????

Based purely on the mark my first thought was Jane Searle but I've not seen any slipware by her. Not the marks I have for them, but John Solly or John Shelly would be a better bet.

John Solly did make earthenware but I've never seen this mark before or it being attributed to him.

I bought this a while ago thinking it was Svend Bayer.
Impressed mark is Sb - lower case b.
Nicely put together so must be someone known.

I’d be very grateful if anyone can identify the maker of this bowl.  It is height 10cm diameter 13  honey and brown glaze trailed yellow slip.
I bought it on eBay; the seller said that she used to have a note of the potter – a woman who worked at the Leach Pottery in the 1970s – but no longer had a note of the name, but the mark was db or ab. Please see photos. Thank you
