MCM Double-Decker Pot With T* Mark - Japanese
Hi
Is anyone able to help me identify the maker of this pot, please? I wondered whether it could be classed as 'mid-century modern' and possibly German. The mark is a capital T with something that looks a bit like an asterisk. The background is an off-white colour with a continuous black line spiralling down the full height. All black glaze inside.
Would appreciate any help you can offer, even just pointing me towards the country of origin.
Thanks

I think it's Japanese or Chinese.
光山 means Light Mountain. The two Chinese characters are upside down in the above photo.

Agreed. I've seen a couple if these; factory made. Possibly Japanese.
