Slipware pot: Hugh Perry, Kingsand Pottery, KP Stamp
Marked with a KP, says in the book Hugh Perry was at Kingsand Pottery 1977-1989 and "made traditional earthenware and one off designs". I was wondering if this is Hugh Perry's work?... it looks like the KP stamp is the Kingsand one. His latest work is really different!
Any opinions would be welcome.

I have a slipware piece with this mark attributed to Kirton Pottery

Hugh Perry isn't in my 1999 copy of the BSPM, and they have a different mark for Kirton Pottery so I can't verify

I can't find anything about Kingsand Pottery or any example marks apart from what's in the 2015 edition (only one I have). This is the section, just thought I'd show the mark as it's all I'm going on so it's a bit of a shot in the dark.
(It's my own photo but if I'm not allowed to post this I'll take it off)

A mention in the 1987 "AA Craft Workshops in the English Countryside", which confirms he was the proprietor and not just an employee: "Traditional English slipware pots for oven and table use".

Thanks Naomi, and thanks hercules brabazon for finding that great piece of info. It's seems most likely Hugh Perry did make it.
