it seems to be a chinese calligrapher's water pot
It was used to pour water on ink-stone to grind the ink for calligraphy
The "zhuanshu" (archaic seal script) says dao guang nian zhi (1821-50)
diameter is 6,2cm and the height is 3,5cm
