Re: Jim & Dominique Keeling, Whichford Pottery
There were some life sized rams in the kiln but, unless you got your friendly giant to hold this while you photographed, this wasn't one of them.
Of the family, Adam's work appeals to me most.

I wish I'd seen one of the big ones, but, no, this is just a few inches

Re: Jim & Dominique Keeling, Whichford Pottery
I think some of the life size ones went over to Japan, as an exhibition from the firing was being held in Bizen. The rest I imagine would have made interesting stock for the garden centre at Whichford. Might be some more when the kiln being fired now is opened.

Re: Jim & Dominique Keeling, Whichford Pottery
Went back last weekend. Chatted to Adam and Jim Keeling and bought another couple of pieces.
Small vase by Adam Keeling; twice fired.
Guinomi by Jim Keeling.
Jim had a few with shino glaze but wasn't willing to let them go. Damn, they were nice :)
Also saw the full size ram by Dominique Keeling. I assume it went back in for a second firing.
Apparently the load they sent over to Japan for an exhibition was bought by one collector as soon as the show opened.
