Ambleside? Empty Ambleside?

Originally from ebay. Bought as Ambleside. It has a cheesecloth fabric like texture on the reverse. Otherwise unmarked.

Could be. Also has a Tibor Reich and Peter Wright look to it.
Love it.

I think it must be right, that pie-crust edge is typical, along with the back,
like my dishes here,

Nice bit, wonder why it's not marked?

Looks like it had an old label stuck to it. Maybe clay was too dry to sign.

But still some doubt? Again it a probable but not 100%er.

TY for the replies.. I'll live in hope of someone finding something similar that's marked.

This is an old post and I'm pretty sure it's Ambleside now. I love this type of pottery as most people overlook it as factory or touristware but every now and then something pops up of high quality. This is not top class but very quirky with comes a close second for me. I'm re-photographing my collection, slowly, I'm down to do Ambleside some time, I have some interesting bits.
