Japanese Swagger Stick Silver Top
Morning folks, this was given to me and the donar thought it was a WW2 officers swagger stick. A bit beaten up but is anyone able to shed any info as to what the marks represent?
I am selling it to support Brain Tumour research, so the more info I have, the easier to get a fair price.
Many thanks,
Alan.

Re: Japanese Swagger Stick Silver Top
Looks like Japanese characters. Or might be Chinese silver.

Yes please Naomi, that's very kind of you. The top is about 40mm diameter and the cane is total length of 83 cm.

It's Chinese, late Qing Dynasty (c.1900). Unfortunately not much value due to its condition.
