I thought maybe Rye but I don't think it's British. Possibly Irish but more likely to be Southern Mediterranian.

The wiggly mark below the handle reminds me of Crathes pottery (Aberdeenshire).

I'e seen loads of this stuff around, must be British. Saw a big lidded jar today in
a charity shop, but alas, no mark. I have a feeling they may have had stickers,
I'll keep an eye out for a marked one.
