Difficult to make out the mark. Can you describe it?

I believe it could be Bridgefoot Pottery?

Doesn't look like anything that I have seen by Ray Marshall, who ran Bridgefoot Pottery, and I have never seen him use brushwork.

Please help me to id this Stoneware preserve jar with lid
Perhaps a pic of the full base with the mark not so enlarged will help. Looks to me like a capital B with the letter C linked underneath.

Re: Glynn Ward, Birkenhead - BP and GW mark windmill mark
"Bridgefoot" may not be the word I was trying to remember, from what I remember it sounded similar though.
I'll keep thinking.
I think it's a BP monogram, I have a little vase somewhere by the same maker.

Stoneware Preserve Jar with Lid
Didn't finish with this one, perhaps another picture of the mark will help. Does anyone recognise it?

This pot was made in the late 70's early 80's at birkenhead park pottery :) I know this as i worked there as a apprentice in the 70's and the stamp is registered at the Williamson art gallery

Welcome Carla and thank you for the information. I notice that you are making pots under your own name these days.
