Can anyone identify this? I bought it at a car boot sale years ago and have always liked it. would love to know more about it

This is Torquay ware, "Royal Watcombe Torquay England", 1935-62.

Thank you for that. Its older than I thought. Good to know what it is and its probably worth the 50p or whatever it was I paid for it :)

Not the most desireable Torquay, what is nowadays, but I have only
seen an example of this shape before by Brannam (Barnstable Devon).

Thats very helpful. I never thought it would be valuable. I just liked the shape and have always wondered what it was. Its strange how tastes go isn't it?
