This is circa 6 inches diameter, definately solid copper, and heavy around 600g. Clearly it has been spun, rather than beaten.
Surprised that there are no marks on an item of this quality.
Any ideas please?
Thanks,
Alan.

Not sure I am going to be much help. But I got offered Cabochons like the ones attached to the side of this bowl last week. Are these just stuck on the side or do they go right through? The reason I ask is I have seen them on Arts and crafts lamps so much earlier than the Deco date you suggested. It's an idea but what you have could be a lamp base? It would fit with the material, the lack of a mark and the cabochons. May give you a new place to hunt anyway for an attribute anyway.

Good luck

Thanks very much for your suggestion and comments. The Cabochons are soldered on to the side. I will widen my trawl now!
Regards, Alan.
