Delicate Crystal Glass Coffee/Punch glass - FT Dartington?

Just found a set of 6 of these thin glass cups. Cut rim and very thin glass. I was thinking perhaps Frank Thrower pieces but not finding them.

Nah sorry that's wrong - the entire Imbiber range has cut rims as does the Sharon. Most of Frank Thrower's drinking glasses have cut rims.

Cut or ground flat rims would be a better way of putting it

Of the dozens of Dartington glasses that have been through my hands all had fire polished rims, including Imbiber, Sharon, Regency etc.

We are in concord then John? It's a very quick identification trick as the competitors would mimic shapes but always had that tell tale curved rounded rim.

I would agree that this glass is not from Dartington. Sorry, no idea who did make it.

All we are talking about is a definition term for the finish. I used Cut / ground incorrectly because I was unaware of 'Fire Polished'. The rims on these would be the same process.

They are still flat mind you and not rounded - if you've not visited it the FT Blog is wonderful -
