Paul Mossman, Ridgeway Craft Centre Sheffield and Hode Pottery

can anyone help id please?? i think it maybe welsh? it looks like it says "hlossmaw riogomay"?? but i cant read it!!

Can you angle the base to throw the mark into shadow or rub some icing sugar over it to help bring make the signature clearer?

The second word looks like Ridgeway to me

this is a little easyer to see.

Can't wait. I think I went through 4 banana boxes of un-ID'd but there were a
few surprisingly good hits in there, the rest, well back to the boots from whence

Any ideas as to how this reads are much appreciated. The last 3 letters look like "way", nothing like stating the obvious !

I think the first word ends in ...man, and the second word is Ridgeway

Could that first word be PM O'Brian. With the first letter being a joined P/M?

This one came out of a tub & I cannot remember buying it, let alone why I bought it as I am not at all keen on it now.

Paul Mossman also potted at Hode in Kent, but not to be confused with Mary and Nigel Chapman who also ran a Hode Pottery in Canterbury and used the same glazes.

It looks like a Paul Mossman Ridgeway pottery, sheffield.
