Re: Edinburgh (Ingliston)
A long way to go for a rabbit, but then we all spend too much time going to places on the -usually very small- chance of finding that great bargain piece.

Re: Edinburgh (Ingliston)
It's as hit and miss as any fair for buying.
When I see a nice shot, theres always a car on my bumper, and nowhere to pull over,

Re: Edinburgh (Ingliston)
Only 2 items at the fair on Saturday, seemed rather quiet, however more worrying
is this leaflet handed out at the entrance.

A fiver for something that has always been free, on top of the £6/£4 entry!
I fear that will kill the fair, and certainly makes me think of not bothering again.
A token £1 or something maybe. Some trade will pay it but I'm not sure the
public will.

Re: Edinburgh (Ingliston)
Trouble is, you never know it it's true or not. Could be some on just thinking they can make a fast buck as it's private land.
Re: Edinburgh (Ingliston)
Yes, the showground obviosly thought £££ when they worked out the number of visitors.
It was pretty busy yesterday, long trade and public queues.
But as it's right next to the airport, they could sod the fair, amd make even more money
with short-term airport parking.
