Longburton Pottery, RA mark
Seen a handful of pieces recently, all signed Longburton on the base. No other info at this time.

Assume that it was made in the village of that name in Dorset, just south of Sherborne?

I was able to find out that there was a known clay seam near to that village and the pottery does seem to have produced some interesting stuff. Your coffee set does point to it being active in the late 1960s into the 1970s at least.

Yes, from the shape of the coffee pot 60-70s would match.

It wasn't RA after all but RT. He made a collection plate for the Church in 1975. I'm trying to find out the operating dates of the pottery but it was definitely closed by 1980 as he'd moved to London by then.
