Furnival's Pattern ID Empty Furnival's Pattern ID

Post by Janeydav Sun 09 Nov 2014, 11:26 pm

Hi

I am a first time user and was hoping someone might be able to identify this Furnival's pattern.  The majority of Furnival's that I have found is Denmark, Blue & White & Quail.
There is a pattern number on the saucers which looks like 2529 1/2 B.
Can anyone tell me the pattern name and what sort of date it might be from.

Many thanks

As the mark suggests, this would be from 1913 onwards up to 1968.
But stylistically definitely 1920s / 1930s. Finding a specific pattern name
may be difficult, as it may not have had one.

If the pattern had a name it would be logical to include that in the backstamp, rather than just a handwritten pattern number.

I had a look on the various replacement sites and no luck in finding the pattern, sorry.

Most replacement companies don't bother with pre-war items, because of low
demand, and poor condition, just a few timeless Doulton patterns like eg
Minden & Countess.
