Stoneware Vase Ph or PA mark - Pauline Ashley?

Now that I look at it I think you are both correct. Should have known that the first hit on Google would be wrong lol. Any ideas on PA?

No character before the P. It's PA or PH(still looks like PH irl but PA in photos) inside a square which is inside a circle.

Clearer photo of the mark in natural light. Think it's PH with the top right part of the H covered by the glaze.

Could it be a capital P and a lower case h?

I cant discount it but I do still feel it is PH. Do you know any marks with Ph?

Unfortunately I don't have the book, hoping someone will give it to me for xmas :)

I have two possible PHs in my copy. (No PAs, though.)

To be honest, I doubt it's her.

Peter Holdsworth, Ramsbury, Wilts.
Earthenwares and stonewares.
I've come across his slipware pieces, but not ones like this, but it does seem the more likely of the two.

Just a polite bump and to say that the mark is definitely Ph, checked with a piece of blue tack, unmistakable capital P small case h.
