this is quite a large baluster shaped vase with a blue / green glaze that reminds me of some Moorcroft pottery.  It has a makers mark impressed on the base which looks like x> and an incised mark which could be a 1 over 2.  Any ideas.

hard to see in my pics, but i think the glaze might be classed as "rabbit's fur glaze"

the impressed mark is a rectangle, with a mark in the middle. There definitely seems to be an 'x', and the lines joining above that could be a downward 'v' or possibly a downwards 'y' type mark. I've looked in the studio pottery marks book (Yates Owen) but couldn't see it.

I think you mean "hare's fur" BB, like the Gunnar Nylund Nymolle.
