Vases with impressed Su mark - Stuart Walsh

Post by ASeal123 on Sat Aug 30, 2014 10:22 am

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help with the identification of 4 vases I have bought. They are all beautifully glazed and very contemporary, appearing to have an oriental influence. I have not been able to identify the mark they have so far. At the bottom of each vase on the side of the base(rather than underneath) they all have an impressed circular mark with a raised capital S and lower case u joined together like Su. I will post photos asap but not near the vases right now.

Can anyone identify the make or studio please as I am baffled and they are so lovely I really want to know who I should be looking for!

Many thanks.

Thanks to Studio-pots and NaomiM for their responses. The vases were bought at an auction in the mendips in Somerset. If that helps with an identification that would be great.

Dantheman - I don't own it - was looking at it and thought it looked interesting - but it's too expensive for what it is.
