It does look a bit foreign. Your vase is the sort of thing someone might buy on holiday.

Two small pieces with WJH mark
The mark on these looks very similar to Bill Hedge's mark but it is slightly different as the J looks taller.

There is bound to be a bit of variation over the years as new stamps are made.
The 3rd edition of the Marks book also lists Bill Hedge at Mount St Bernard Abbey 1968-79, so presumably he took over from Fr. Luke Harris, and the MSB mark belonging to him.

Which pottery though, possibly Mount St Bernard Abbey, Coalville, Leicester? Looks like a seconds going by the base and slight sagging on inside interior where the bottom of handle is attached to the body.NaomiM wrote:Yes.
