This is purely from using "the book" but Ann & Theodore Whalley (a fine name) ran the Haverfordwest Pottery from 1962 until 1979 and made thrown tableware in earthenware and stoneware amongst other things.
An early mark, which was one of many over the years, looks like this.
Nothing else to back it up, as I have never knowingly held or seen a Whalley pot.
