can anyone shed any biographical light on Maria Beckett? I have a small pot by her but can't seem to find any info on her in the Studio pottery marks bible.

yes, she seems to have been a competent potter. Such a shame there's no info on the web about her.

She could still be potting and, if so, could be a member of Kent Potters.

An email to them can't do any harm. They have a web site but it doesn't give a complete list of members.
