His work is very different now google chapelyard pottery , he used to work with Seth Cardew in the 1980's, Ed

Yes , I believe so , he did also work in Australia & Germany , he states he has influence from Monet & Matisse , but his background influence is english & european folk art .

Hello Sunny,
A good name! Yes it is one of my pots,It was made when i was at a workshop in Norwich Le Dieu Pottery,around 1987 ,after returning from Germany i was for a while influenced by the folk art of Hungary.This was a stoneware pot once fired to 1280c. Hope this is of some help.Up to date work can be found at www.chapelyard.co.uk

Highly coloured vase - Richard Wilson

Hi

I've had this vase for a while but have no idea of the potter. Does anyone have any ideas . Earthenware, highly glazed in multi colours slip trailed in black.
No mark and 13cms high
