Smoked Decanter in the style of Kaj Franck's Kremlin Bells

Hi

I dropped the ball on this one and thought it was a Kaj Franck piece but it's not. Approx 8.2 inches high with a 1.25 inch wide ground out pontil on base.

It is missing it's stopper and quite a rare thing I imagine, first I remember seeing anyway.

It is from Dartington Glass, pattern number FT4. Designed by Frank Thrower in 1967 and as I understand it not made after 1971. Made in clear, kingfisher and like yours midnight.

Nice.

All info from Dartington Glass, the First Twenty Years by Linda and Stuart Smithson.
