Sgraffito slipware jug by Doug Fitch. He and Hannah McAndrew post regular videos of their potting on youtube, and Doug is shown making one of these jugs on the 18th Feb 2014 upload.

Glaze is wonderful but it can be annoying when it obscures the mark. Can this be identified with what can be seen and the style and method of work.
Red earthenware body, two tone very shiny thick treacle glaze with applied roundels. These roundels are unusual and could be a clue.

I don't think you are a true pottery collector until you can proudly and with feeling say you own a brown jug. Non pot people just don't gettit. Excellent
