metal (tin?) leaping bull
Not content with buying things of beauty (in the eye of the beholder) I purchased this recently from a butchers shop in Camden, after looking longingly at it for years.
Not sure what it is made of possibly tin, about 35cm long and about 20 cm tall.
I don't think there will be any information that you can give but I sit in hope.
Kind regards

It's possible it's a Fair Trade item from Africa, Indonesia or South America. A lot of recycled metal ornaments (made from tin cans) have come over here over the past ten years or so and sold to raise money for communities in Third World Countries.
But it could also be by a local Arts graduate. It's very nice.

Thanks Naomi, I really love it (being a Taurean or just full of bull) I don't think it is recycled as the body looks cased, funnily the butcher claimed that it was a present to him but i'm not sure it was as when I offered him some cash he nearly snapped my hand off. I think that for some reason it was part and parcel of the butchers shop when they took over as it is now a Halal butchers and they haven't been there too long.

We have two local butchers and one has a line of pottery chickens of various types in the window, and the other a line of pigs. They seem to go in for that sort of thing.
