A nicely cut stem and undulating line on bowl.

Any ideas on the maker?

I wondered what RMS stands for, it turns out Royal Mail Ship, which ties in with:

It might be possible to find out who fitted the ship out and who supplied goods.

Googled and found another RMS Queen Elizabeth glass, boxed, (engraved with a picture of the ship) that's Stuart Glass.
Stuart or Waterford would seem the logical choices.

I guess you spotted the CUNARDER R.M.S. CARINTHIA CRYSTAL CHAMPAGNE GLASS, that's the same as yours but has RMS Carinthia etched on it, which is a Cunard ship not a glass maker.

The style of etching on your glass reminds me more of Stuart than Waterford.

Found one, etched with RMS Queen Mary, attributed to Stuart:
