Jack in Pulpit type vase..Anybody got an iD ?? IOW or Alum Bay ??

Recently found this and thought it could possibly be IOW or Alum bay
but cant find same anywhere. Hope ive not fallen for a TK Max special again !!
Any ideas most appreciated
Measures about 24cm tall
The base has concave shape to a point and there is a rough ring about midway up the cone part ... never seen the likes before !!
Has some sort of engraved signature on base but cant make it out

It is unlikely to be IoW or Alum Bay but it looks like a complex and well made bit of glass, getting a photo that shows that signature more clearly might help.
From the base it looks as though it has an iridescent finish, does it?
