what maker could this be?
hello!
i found this interesting lamp last week and i ask myself which maker could it be?
look at the base, the lampbase looks like it brokes in two parts, but the owner before said to me that
the base is not broken, the lamp has been produced this way to reach this effect.
maybe someone has seen this before.
thank you
kurt

Looks like a huge firing crack to me.

I would say a firing crack as well or it cracked when drying and was stuck together again with the glaze

I very much doubt "the lamp has been produced this way to reach this effect," especially if the previous owner didn't know the maker.
I can't see a professional potter allowing one of their pieces to go out like that, so probably a student piece.
