Hello!

I've had this piece for a while and hope someone can throw some more information my way to continue my research since I've hit a brick wall. I have a feeling it may be a Mexican folk mask but I'm not 100% convinced. Hopefully someone here can add their opinion on it. Thanks!

The hair and beard look Greek/Persian. I wonder if it's a mask made for a play; a Greek tragedy.
