Bizarre Blue Glass Vase Empty Bizarre Blue Glass Vase

I think it's bizarre but had to have it. Husband thinks it's horrific Laughter 

Any ideas as to origin? It's about 8" tall and very heavy. The top portion of the 'vase' is a different piece/colour from the bottom portion and is a bit off-kilter. Ground pontil that is also off centre. A practise piece perhaps?
